Jaxon's 2nd Birthday Party

I can't believe my baby boy is about to turn two. Where did the time go? It just seems like yesterday I was complaining about being fat and miserable. Now, look at him! He is learning new words everyday! He is so sweet but yet he has the worst temper I've EVER seen!

His birthday party was great, like always! We had the regular people here at the house. Jan Barnett did his gorgeous cake and did amazing job, LIKE ALWAYS! She is so talented.

I hope you had an amazing birthday party, baby boy! We love you so much!!!!!

Isn't this cake AMAZING?!

Birthday boy!

Slumber Party

Friday night Lochlan had her very first sleep over. She has been asking for a long time for her cousin, Ella to come over. And I figured this would be the perfect weekend for it.

She got here about 5pm and we immediately loaded up in the car and headed to a really nice park in Hanceville. It was our first time going to that one and I was REALLY impressed. It started getting a little crowded so we decided to go get some supper. After we ate they wanted to go to a different park so we headed off to West Elementary park and played for another good hour. By then it was getting dark, so I rounded up the grew and headed to RedBox to rent a movie and picked out their favorite candy. We got home and Wes had put up a tent in Jaxon's room with a blow up mattress for the girls. We popped popcorn and ate plenty of candy. By 10:30 Ella asked Uncle Wes to turn off movie she was ready for bed.

We really enjoyed Miss Ella! We will have to have her back SOON! Here are a few pictures from our night.

Mama's Song

Over 4 years ago the most wonderful man walked into my life. I'm so incredibly blessed to have found him! He treats Lochlan like she is his own. What did I ever do to deserve him?! Not quite sure, but I'm not going to complain.

From the very first time I heard this song it reminded me of myself, Wes and my Mom because I was in a very bad, unhealthy and draining  marriage for 3 years. It wasn't GOOD....AT ALL! But after I had Lochlan I finally realized Loch and I deserved better and got away from it.  Now, 4 years later I have found the answer to my Mom's prayers and I thank the Lord everyday!

               Mama's Song

Mama you taught me to do the right things
So now you have to let your baby fly
You've given me everything that I will need
To make it through this crazy thing called life
And I know you watch me grow up and always want whats best for me
And I think I found the answer to your prayers

And he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So dont you worry about me
Dont you worry about me

Mama theres no way you'll ever lose me
And giving me away is not goodbye
As you watch me walk down to my future, I hope tears of joy are in your eyes

Cuz he is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So dont you worry about me
Dont you worry about me

And when I watch my little baby grow I'll only want whats best for her

And I hope she'll find the answer to my prayers
And that she'll say

He is good, so good
He treats your little girl like a real man should
He is good, so good, he makes promises he keeps
No he's never gonna leave
So dont you worry about me
Dont you worry about me

Mama dont you worry about me

Dont you worry about me

Wes, I love you! Thank you for answering our prayers! :)

Weston Todd

Say HELLO to my sweetheart! This is my nephew, Weston! He is 4 months old.  I love this baby so much! He is ALWAYS happy, never cries and always has this sweet smile on his face. And he loves his Auntie Moo!! :)

SIX

Six! SIX?!? It just seemed like yesterday I found out I was pregnant with her! I was a day away from moving 2 hours north to Fort Campbell, KY. I was so happy when the pregnancy test read positive. YOU were what I dreamed and prayed about. The moment you were born I was madly in love with you and 6 years later you still do the same. You are such a girl. You love anything pink, dressing up, make up, and your newest love JUSTIN BIEBER! You aren't old enough to start having crushes, are you!?

Lochlan, you are so beautiful and smart and I wish you a lifetime of happiness. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, BABY GIRL!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Slacker McSlack Pants

Wow...I'm pretty bad at the blog thing. Its been over 8 months since my last one?! WHOOPS! So, what's been taking up my time? Oh, the usual being a mother and wife. But I made a promise to myself to try and post more. I actually enjoy it.

Life is pretty crazy around here, as usual. Lochlan is in Kindergarten and is doing wonderful. It amazes me that she can count to 100 and READ! WOW! They put so much on a 5 (almost 6) year old plate these days. I can't remember doing that when I was her age. I'm so proud of her!

And Mr Jaxon. Oh, he is my little monkey with a small attitude. But he is also my little cuddle bug. He keeps me entertained that's for sure. He has the BEST personality and sense of humor. He is hilarious.

Wes is doing great in Pharmacy school. Talk about being a PROUD wife. I can't believe he is already in his 2nd semester. It just seems like we found out he got accepted into Pharm school. Now, if the next 3 years could go that fast.

Well, thats a quick update on what's been going on lately. I'll post some pictures later, but right now I've got to get Miss Loch off to school!    Ta-Ta!

Speakman Family Reunion

This past Saturday was the Speakman Family Reunion. I ADORE these people. But the sad thing is, its been over 8 YEARS or longer since I've seen any of them. It was a great afternoon. We ate and caught up and ate some more! We met at Sportsman Lake where for years meet every year, up until my grandmother passed away 15 years ago. There were a bunch of kids there and they all got along so well. My cousin Amy was there and brought her son, Jackson Wesley who is 2 weeks younger then my Jaxon Wesley. CRAZY, HUH?! I know! It was great seeing everyone, and we plan on getting together again during the holidays! Here are a few pictures from our afternoon...ENJOY!
