Anyone have a Xanax?!

My sweet innocent baby boy has turned into a monster. All he does is scream, whine, hit, pinch or throw massive temper tantrums. What happened to my angel? He used to cuddle and love on me all the time. Now, I hardly get to see him smile. My nerves are shot and on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to go shopping or out to eat with him because if he doesn't get his way he will throw himself on the floor and throw a fit or start screaming on the top of his lungs. I've tried spanking and time outs. Nothing is working!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Any suggestions or advice? I will take ANY!

Welp, its official! I've jumped on the iPhone train! And its TRUE LOVE! A few months ago I was available for an upgrade and I was desperate for a new phone so I went up to Verizon and got the Samsung Fascinate. It was so much better then my Droid. But wouldn't you know ONE WEEK later Verizon announced they were getting iPhone 4! What the crap?! So, of course the hubs was first in line to get it for himself. BOO!

About a year ago we had added an extra line to our account, for what reason...WHO KNOWS? But we discovered 3 nights ago that we could get an early upgrade on it! SWEET! Wes had been wanting to get me an iPhone since he got one. So, he immediately drove to Verizon and got it for me! I LOVE YOU, SWEETIE!!!!

Birdie Baby Shower

Saturday was Heather (Bice) and Steve Bosse's baby shower. It was bird themed and my mother went NUTS over it. I honestly think she should be a party planner. She did an amazing job.

Heather and Steve live in Tucson, AZ so planning was a bit difficult. We had to work around Steve's schedule because he is a lawyer and a very busy guy and also we had to make sure Heather wasn't too far along where she couldn't fly! So, we set the date for April 2nd. She is around 25 weeks so it was perfect.

We couldn't have been more blessed with the weather. A little breezy but it was 71 degrees and PERFECT! Since Heather missed Thanksgiving she wanted a potluck style shower. So, everyone brought their favorite Thanksgiving side dish. We had EVERYTHING...Ham, dressing, cranberry sauce and every kind of casserole you could think of.

Also, since they live in Arizona we decided for everyone to only bring a gift card or a very small item. Some people didn't like it because it wasn't personal enough but shipping is expensive.

We had a great turn out and had a wonderful time.

Ten Guilty Pleasures

What is your guilty please? What is that one little thing in life that makes you super happy? Well, this is what I came up with in no specific order...

1) American Idol

I have to completely honest....I haven't watched a season of AI in years. It never kept my attention but for some reason this year is GREAT. I LOVE it. I don't know if its the judges or great, unique talent but I can't get enough.

2) Dancing With The Stars


I LOVE this show. I don't know if its because I secretly would LOVE to learn how to dance like these guys or what but I can't get enough of this either. I first started watching it 2 years ago when Lochlan was really getting into dancing and I figured she would enjoy watching it. Well, 2 years later we are both addicted to it.

3) Golden Oreo


If I had to chose 1 thing to live off of for the rest of my life it would be Golden Oreo's! And I wouldn't care how fat I got. I would be a Oreo-itian! :)

4) Hugs and Kisses from my kids

There is nothing that can make me happier then kissing and hugging my kids. I love them so much!!

5) Dawson's Creek


DON'T LAUGH!!! I know, its totally lame but I can't help it. I LOVE Dawson's Creek. It makes me happy! :)

So, I'm kinda, sorta, maybe a tad addicted to social networking. Especially that I can pull it up on my phone with just a touch of a button. Is their a rehab for this type of thing? Because I need HELP!!

7) Gossip Magazines/Websites


I LOVE gossip magazines. I would buy them every week if my husband would let me.

8) Target


Talk about TRUE LOVE. I double, no triple HEART this store. And it breaks my heart that the closet one is 35 minutes away. But I go as much as possible. If I'm in Decatur or Fultondale for whatever reason I'll be in Target.

9) Sweet Tea


I am a girl who was born and raised in the south. So, when I order a tea I want it SWEET. It drives me crazy visiting my BFF in Arizona and I go to order a sweet tea and I get the "WTF" look. Its quite embarrassing. But lately I've been on Weight Watchers and I've been ordering UnSweet Tea. No, it isn't the same. But I guess it will have to do.

10) Flip Flops


Last but not least....FLIP FLOPS! I would wear them all year long if I could.
