RIP!

Wednesday was a very sad day for our family! My mother called me about 10pm, saying that our Black Lab, Jake had passed away sometime during the day! He was a old man, I believe he was going on 15 years old! We think he passed away from old age, and didn't suffer any. I grew up with this dog, so I've been having a hard time dealing with this! I know, it's just a DOG, but he didn't feel like just a DOG to me, he was my family! One of the hardest parts of this was telling Lochlan! So, my dad took her out to his grave and explained that Jake was VERY old and is in Heaven now with Jesus! She looked at my dad very confused and said "Jesus is in the ground beside Jake?!" She is so funny and didn't really quite understand what was going on, how do you explain death to a 4 year old?

RIP MY JAKE MAN!!! I'LL MISS YOU!

Happy Half a Year, Jaxon!

It's so hard to believe that my baby is half a year old! That means in 6 more months, he will be a YEAR OLD! What?! This is impossible! Where did the year go? He is so amazing! He is scooting ALL over the place! I can place him in the middle of his blanket, with his toys, go to the kitchen to get a drink, come back and he is off his blanket, making his way to the other side of the room! He is also sitting up on his own! I can't believe how big he is getting it breaks my heart because I know he is that much closer to crawling and walking....Where did my baby go???

MY "MOTE"

So, Jaxon has an obsession with our remote control! But not just ANY remote, it has to be the one to our Dish Network, not one for the DVD player, not the TV remote , just this ONE remote! It's so funny because he can be screaming and he'll happen to glance to the side and see THE remote and he will stop crying and DIVE for it! It's so cute! He reminds me so much of his daddy because the both get so excited about electronics...HAHA! Anyway...here are a few pictures to show how he feels about his beloved "mote"!

I forgot to mention that I've lost more weight..2 more pounds to be exact, that's a grand total of 11 POUNDS! YAY! Wes has lost a total of 15 pounds, I'm so proud of him, and me too! I only want to lose about 10 lbs more! The way things are going, shouldn't take too much longer!! :)

It's been awhile!

Wow, It's been a few weeks since I've blogged...sorry! A few things has happened since I last blogged! Jaxon has his first tooth! YAY! He is getting so big! Can't believe he will be 6 months old next week!

Lochlan is still going to gymnastics every Wednesday and LOVES it! She is getting REALLY good at it too!

Also, my friend from high school, Niki had a baby boy, Bryant, last Thursday! He seemed fine Friday when I was at the hospital to visit. But I got a text from Niki Saturday saying they had to transfer him to UAB because they thought he had an infection in his blood or maybe even blood on his brain. I haven't heard anything else from her, but our mutual friend, Tonya text me today and said he was coming home Wednesday, so i'm guessing he is doing better! But please keep him and his family in your prayers...
