DAY EIGHT-----A SONG TO MATCH YOUR MOOD

Since we are leaving for the beach in 5 DAYS I'm in complete beach mode! And I think "Toes" from Zac Brown Band is perfect!!

Tiny Dancer

Yesterday was Lochlan's very first ballet recital! And I honestly don't think I've ever been so proud in my life. There is NO WAY I would ever have enough guts get up on that stage and dance. And she said she wasn't even nervous.

She is a nature born performer. She is always walking around singing and dancing. I call her a "Walking Musical"
She is the next Sharply Evans! :)

I love you so much, Tiny Dancer! I am so proud of you!

DAY SEVEN

DAY SEVEN----YOUR DREAM WEDDING

Well, this one is easy! My dream wedding would be On February 9, 2008 in Gatlinburg, TN in a little chapel in the mountains. There would only be our closet friends and family. My daughter, Lochlan and niece, Ella would be my bridesmaids and Wes' best men would be his dad, Allen and best friend Michael!

Wait....what....this has already happened! I had the most beautiful, simple wedding. And I wouldn't have it any other way!

This picture was taken May 2009. We were at Aunt Roxanne's house. Jaxon was only 2 months old. My hair was so short. Its grown so much!

Kindergarten Graduation

I can not believe that this year is already over. It just seems like yesterday that we were at registration getting her signed up for Kindergarten now she is going into 1st grade? WOW!

I wasn't close enough to the stage to get good pictures but I did manage to get one with my phone.

This was right after graduation. I'm so proud!

I thought this was sweet and also hilarious!
Guess I'm not getting grandchildren from her!

I am so proud of you, Lochlan! You are such a smart, beautiful young lady with huge hopes and dreams! I love you so much!

DAY FOUR

DAY FOUR---MY FAVORITE PICTURE OF MY BEST FRIEND

I will start off by telling a little about my best friend. Her name is Heather. We have been best friends for almost 27 years! She is my first cousin. Our dads are brothers and our moms have been best friends since they were 16 so naturally we were always together. We done everything together! But about 6 years ago she moved to Arizona. Very sad day! But we talk EVERYDAY and during the summer I take trips to Arizona to see her and she comes home to Alabama as often as she can. I miss you so much, Heather!

So, I have two favorite pictures of her. The first picture is when we were 17. I love this picture! We were in Indiana with our moms to see Alabama play in concert.

It looks like we have a halo over our heads. ANGELS!

Heather sent me this next picture of herself just this week. She had been in  Mexico and its such a beautiful picture. The ocean in the background makes the picture breathtaking!   She  is almost 8 months pregnant with her first child. I'm so excited for her and Steve. They are going to make such wonderful parents.

DAY THREE

DAY THREE----PERFECT FIRST DATE



My idea of the perfect first date is a picnic on the beach at sunset. Doesn't that sound romantic? Waves crashing in the back ground, the salty air....Ahhhh heavenly! Isn't it a shame I'll never have a "first" date again? Maybe I can convince Wes to take me on a date next month while we are at the beach! :)

DAY TWO----SOMETHING I'VE ATE TODAY



I could eat Cap'n Crunch for breakfast, lunch and dinner! I can remember eating this since I was I was baby and I don't think I will EVER get sick of it. I don't like the one with the berries or the Peanut butter. I like it plain Jane! Nom Nom Nom!!

Day 1

This is me!

I bought the kids a slip and slide! They played on it ALL afternoon!

After the kids got done playing we decided to build a small camp fire and roast hot dogs and marshmellows and make s'mores. We had a nice little picnic in the backyard.  I am so blessed to have a wonderful little family!
